My name is Scott Prechtel, welcome to my web site. It is important to understand your financial options based on your personal needs. In order to stay on top of my field and develop my professional skills over my twenty three year career, I have regularly attended industry training and certification programs. I have completed the curriculum and passed the exams for the following:



  • Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional designation of the American College
  • Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designation of the American College
  • FINRA securities registration: Series 7,24,26,63 and 65
  • State Insurance Licenses

Rather than just recommending unrelated products, I will first look at your specific financial goals and investment objectives. Working together, we can formulate a strategy to help you work toward your goals. My wife Amy and I live in Oakland, Michigan with our three children. We are both graduates of Michigan State University.
